Booking flights next question

If I book economy out can I possibly upgrade this later if the price becomes more reasonable….and just pay the difference?

Usually yes but it varies on the ticket type and fare class you have booked. This would also vary by airline.

as above but if connected to your previous question, ba booking with hotel added so a holiday to pay deposit only, upgrades are rare (possibly never online, you have to call but i cannot confirm), I generally add room or car for holidays and cannot recall seeing an upgrade offer, whereas on flight only bookings with BA (typically for work) they are regular.

We usually book flight only now due to this.

We see decent upgrade offers for every flight only booking, have to keep checking but they always come up. Never seen them on a holiday booking.

Thanks for replies…

I’m going to wait couple weeks when delta and American Airlines dates kick in…see if any cheaper..
I’m just been greedy .lol….can afford to pay it but we all like a bargain…man to Mco premium £687 each. £230 cheaper each in economy..

In the past it’s been £150 extra each for premium but I guess it’s a sign of the times…

Thanks everyone for your replies….xx

We booked the day that AA released our return flight, in the morning the price was really high but that afternoon it came right down. Two days later prices are back up and £2500 more than we paid. We booked premium return.

Is that PE both ways for £637? I've never seen a return MCO flight in PE for less than £700 from Manchester so I'd be snapping that up!

ETA: Sorry just it's £687 not £637. Still a good price though.

Not sure you’ll see much lower than that for outbound. Mco prices are very high right now.

As you’ve got to wait for the return flights to be released the cheaper fares on the outbound May likely be gone already.

We booked LHR-MIA premium return with AA for £661 out £430 back. That’s more than we’ve ever paid before but mco was a lot more. The return is now £1153.
