UPDATE Page 9 : Charity Art Auction - 1st Arrived
As many Dibbers know I collect contemporary art and often pop a bid on secret art postcard auctions. I saw one recently for Combat Stress (a cause I support ) so popped in a bid for a piece that, for some reason, spoke to me. And for the first times ever (in well over 100 auctions) my bid won and its mine !
So tomorrow (25 Oct) I find out who the artist is (highly likely an unknown “named artist” but that doesn’t bother me (too much but who knows ?) I love the piece and it supports charity. I SO needed a pick me up today and getting the email to say the piece I love is mine did that Now to choose a frame and place to display it - photos will follow when received Edited at 01:49 PM. |
