Virgin onboard WiFi
Has anyone used this ? I am just wondering if it is good enough to stream Netflix or use you tube. My DD is desperate for this and whilst we usually limit her I am happy for her to do this most of the flight if it keep her quiet

Yeah, currently only on their 787s though it states being rolled out to the rest of the fleet through 2016.
At £15 for 150MB data I think I'll pass

I'm not and don't plan to for the forseeable future as I've only flown with VA from Gatwick.
Their 787s flies from Heathrow only and have replaced their Heathrow-based 747s.

I flew to HK on the Dreamliner in January, the Wi-Fi is ok but not that fast.

The wifi isn't on the MCO routes yet, if you are flying to San Francisco or New York you can get it - but it isn't fast by any means and its extortionate (someone put the price in the thread earlier) - its fine if you are in Upper Class as you get it free but anywhere else I think most people will ignore it unless its to catch up on work emails and you can expense the cost
