DLP at Christmas
I received so much help for our Orlando trip last year I though I would pick your brains again for DLP! We are planning on visiting at Christmas this year (26th-29th December), we have two children (3 and 6) and will be travelling with my parents. We want to stay on site but struggling to decide between Sequoia Lodge/Newport/NY, does anyone have any ideas?. Also any recommendations for places to eat and general Christmas tips would be appreciated!

All good hotels but I'd say Sequoia Lodge is particularly nice at Christmas.

id personally avoid hotel new york until the rooms are refurbed, it was looking worn out (the rooms, foyer was beutiful)when we went 6 months ago, newport however looks amazing and we would 100% chose that one if we where to go again.

Agree at Christmas I'd go for SL, lovely theming, cosy bar! If your budget stretches to Golden Forest level, so much the better.

SQL Golden Forest if possible. Haven't stayed at NPB but it always strikes me more of a summer theme hotel, whereas I've stayed at SQL and it's a perfect Autumn/Winter themed hotel.

We have been during that time on many occasions, last time was 2015. I couldn't believe how busy it was! Our previous visits had been about 5/6 years previously, and although busy it was still relatively calm. Last trip was rammed! Start early and do as much as you can in the first couple of hours, we got loads done then. We had free half board and ate in buffet restaurants(Plaza, Agrabah and one in the studios, not sure of the name) and I was pleasantly surprised with them. I am vegetarian, this is generally quite a challenge in France generally, so a buffet suited me. My husband and kids(carnivores) really enjoyed the buffets, plenty for everyone. We are planning to go again this year, so it hasn't put us off!
