Not feeling it

Hi All,

We go tomorrow for our 8th visit just a quick week on-site trip. Normally I'm so excited and cannot wait to go. In truth this time i'm so anxious about this trip I'm not looking forward to it, my mum passed away in Jan and I'm still up and down about that, our 16 yo son has been a bit of a tinker this year and his attitude stinks, him and my husband are always butting heads and Im thinking 8 nights together is not going to be fun.

Feeling v sad and anxious instead of what should be excited and happy.

Any tips to drag me out of this feeling sorry for myself pity party

Sometimes the best holidays are the ones you really aren't looking forward to. I have often had times before hand when family members don't get on and even in the airport this can continue but everyone just seems to get on when they get out there. Not always perfect but better than at home. I am sure things will feel better when you get out into the sunshine.

Maybe they need a change of scenery and they may find peace for 1 week!

Big breath and just breathe in a bit of space, time and Disney. Let DS and DH deal with their bits and for you - just go and have a bit of space and time that you really deserve - you all should come home with a different perception as to how life at home should be.
