Going to a concert tonight...

My daughter says she will never go back to the MEN. We weren’t there that night but a girl she was friendly with died She tried to get tickets for Sheffield but they were sold out within minutes. I think it would have really helped her if she had have went tonight. Have a wonderful time

Lots of anxiety around, but it is only natural.
My hubbys brother normally does security for concerts around Manchester, he wasn’t there that night.
A couple of my daughters friends were at the concert, they still were not feeling safe going to the One Love concert.
It’s taking one step at a time, and knowing what you can and can’t cope with.
I grew up in the army, we lived with threats all the time, I am normally in the mindset of you need to live your life for you, not what may or may not happen. I must admit that changed somewhat when the awful incident happened in Manchester, because not long before that I was one of those parents dropping my kids off and picking them up from a concert. It was far to close to home for me. Which for me to change my thought process is saying something.

Enjoy the concert, I think it makes us all a little more wary, I think it’s only natural.

We had a lovely night thank you. We were all totally fine once we were there and my girls and their friends had a great time... they are already talking about when they can go again lol.

I hope everyone else who went last night also had a great night.
