Mobile Free full board breakfast

Hi,
I’ve booked the Disneyland Hotel for March next year and I get free full board. When I booked it said breakfast is counter breakfast and this is also stated on my paperwork, I’ve also read recent reviews of the hotel saying they had a counter breakfast. However reading on this forum I’ve seen recents posts saying you still get breakfast in the hotel. Is it down to the discretion of the cast member? I’m really confused! Thanks for all your help.

From April next year they've reverted back to offering breakfast in the hotel. If you're booked for March it's likely that you'll still have the counter service option at that time.

They used to automatically upgrade people to hotel breakfast at DLH but the policy changed mid October. You now have to pay a €22 top up or have counter service breakfast.

To be honest full board is way too much food anyway. Two three course meals a day at Premium restaurants? I would stick with a croissant and coffee for breakfast if I had that.

We had full board when we went in Feb and found it perfect. We have young children (infant school) so having the time to sit down and take a break is needed what with all the walking around and excitement. And to be honest, they do need to have a breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even I was ravaging for lunch after a breakfast at 7.30am!

Thanks for the replies.
I don’t mind having the counter service breakfast, although taking time out of the morning to get it will be a little annoying. We will probably take snacks for the kids for brekkie and have it as more of a mid morning snack.
It’s just really confusing when you read contradictory info, trying to figure out what you’re actually due to get. My general opinion is the more food the better! So a hotel breakfast would of been a great bonus!

Some people have mentioned that you can use your quick service breakfast vouchers for room service breakfast. I don’t know if this is true but if you can then that’ll be a good alternative.

I know someone who went recently and did that rather than do counter service. She said the full breakfast on room service was expensive but for a €3 top up you can get your choice of eggs with 3 sides and toast. I have an email from before the policy change promising me hotel breakfast at no extra charge but if they won't honor that then I think I'll do this.

Free Dine plan

Is that the Winter/Spring 19: Free Dine + Up to 20% Off! package, I've booked it too, but can't find any info on what the free dine entitles me too. Can I use if for character meals? Or restaurants like Walt's or is it restricted to cheaper ones?

If you booked to stay before April 2019 you will get a counter service breakfast in the parks and then vouchers for lunch and/or dinner (depending on if you have half or full board). There are different levels of the plan - which hotel are you booked into?
