Hobby Lobby website...

I cannot seem to get onto the Hobby Lobby website...when I tried, it said ‘Access denied’ ...I wonder if they’ve changed it for the US only? 🙂

Jenny it changed about 2weeks ago a right flipping pain as I wanted to order stuff to have it delivered to the villa this week
Didn't stop me spending all my Christmas money in there on Friday
I'll defiantly need to down load. VPN I think when I get home
If any body saw a mad women taking pictures and emailing them to DIL on Friday it was me
And I've to email here this weeks 50% off mail shot in case she wants something else

What is VPN please ? and would it be easy to put onto an iPad ?

I too have been trying to access Hobby Lobby Website and seeing the message access denied

A vpn is a virtual proxy network, it makes your computer seem to be in a different country to get around stupid rules like GDPR(I'm sick of having to accept cookies all the time).
If you use the firefox browser or chrome browser just look on the extension or add on tab in settings for either Hola or Browsec, they're both free and really simple to use, just install them and set your country to the US, it slows down your connection a little so only turn it on when you need to access american sites. There are quicker and better ones available but they charge a monthly subscription so not worth it for casual users.

I use Chrome, I will get my son to sort it for me when he next visits,
I miss being able to browse the Hobby Lobby Website

It is likely to be related to GDPR.
I believe that any company allowing access to their website to those based in UK/Europe must comply with GDPR regulations or be subject to the fines even if the company themselves are not based within Europe/UK.

Some US companies have made the decision that rather than spending money on meeting the requirements it is easier & cheaper to block access.
