I needed to add someone to our Disney hotel booking and was fearing having to pay £410 for the 14 day ultimate ticket

Luckily they only charged me £325 which was same price it was when I booked it originally

Good news! Your poor boy might've been standing outside the gates on his first trip!

I genuinely don't understand your position. You are linking unrelated events (exchange rate vs price increase).

Annual price rises tend to happen. That's increased Disney ticket prices.

The exchange rate is entirely separate. Any gaps will be recouped by all companies who are now taking a hit due to the pound being worth less. (That's worth less, not worthless ). It will all be creeping in, but perhaps less noticeably as other companies may have different arrangements with trading partners / different currency hedging strategies / who knows?

What other companies decide to do is immaterial to how Disney acts.

Try the cruise line - spotless ships, fantastic entertainment, great food and old fashioned Disney service is alive and well. Restrioms are clean too. Much better value all round

Just reading through this and its scaring me! We were there in feb and I promised my kids a trip.bk feb 2019 and add on.discovery cove. It cost me £2032 for 2 ad 2 kid & 1 free infant for all disney universal sea world and busch gardens. I expected it to go up obviously but not by this much and I still have a couple of years to go! It feels less "magical" when you have to worry about just how much it is going up.by. by the time we go back the price we paud for everything this time is only going to cover disney.
I.love disney but surely theyre already making an absolute killing

Well just read this thread after buying 14day tickets for £285 yesterday. Think Disneys a bargain at £20 a day! Got my direct Virgin flights for June 9th for around £370, got Annual passes at Universal so happy days😊
