I am so pleased your cat is home I know what you have been through
Finn is stil missing after 8weeks We now know that he got into the back of a window van which travelled to Bham 20 miles away The driver did not tell us for 2weeks so by then he could have gone anywhere I have put him on every social media I can think of Been out with a medium Posters everywhere Not even a sighting of him I am devasteted I just want him home

I’m so sorry to hear Finn still isn’t home. Why on earth did the van driver not say anything for 2 weeks!

Do you know exactly where the van stopped? If so are there local “nextdoor” contact groups in that area that you could contact to ask if they could post about Finn with a picture.

I’m on our local one and there are often posts about cats missing or cats which are regularly appearing at houses and seem lost. It always makes me look out for the cat, especially if there are some pictures to help.

But you need to contact ones in the area 20 miles away where the van stopped.

I can only imagine how you feel, I’d be devastated.

I def think there is hope, we have a cat here which after speaking to all the neighbors have discovered he does not actually belong to anyone. I put a paper collar on him last week and no-one rang so just waiting for him to come back and we are taking him to the vet to be scanned. He 100% has come from somewhere as he is super friendly and very vocal, I am just praying now he is chipped.

We are 22 houses off a country lane so the only logical explanation is he's jumped in a work van somewhere and jumped out here.

Please don’t ever give up hope, a few years ago my cat was found 200 miles away after being missing for 2 years. Luckily it looked like she had been really cared for so we’ve always assumed another family had taken her in.

So sorry , I am incredulous how some people behave, even if you don’t like animals he should show some empathy to those who do.
I’m not going to hijack this post but it makes me mad how the driver did this and said nothing ☹️
