Mobile Places to go in Liverpool... (today)

Hello, unexpected full day and evening overnight in Liverpool.

Does anyone have any recemendations on places to go? Thinking more christmas related things.. (doing a bit of shopping this morning ) Plus any good areas for nice bars for afternoon etc..

Got a restaurant sorted for tonight so that's good.

Thanks in advance.

havnt been for a while but one of my favourite watering holes in Liverpool is the Philharmonic a proper old school Victorian pub

its opposite the Philharmonic Hall (oddly enough) on i think Hope Street

if you go make sure you visit the Gents (assuming you are a gent if not the ladies ) even if you dont need to

I was going to say the some as above, even if you just go in for the loo!

This is a bit different too for food or drinks

The ice festival is on in the Pier Head (ice skating, alpine bar/ice bar), rides and ice slide. There's also Christmas things going on in Chavasse park (on the roof of Liverpool One). The cathedrals are both beautiful places to visit and at opposite end of the road from one another. There's a Christmas market outside of St George's hall plus Dreamworks/Shrek lanterns inside St George's Hall (think it's £10 each though and from what I've heard it doesn't take long to walk through). Enjoy your day!

Concert square is the place for bars if your young or young at heart. I prefer the Dale Street and tiebarn Street areas for proper pub like places. The railway and ma doyles are good.
