Charter travel flights

Many years since I’ve used charter travel as started booking virgin direct. Can they get better prices than direct with the airline ? Is it possible to choose seats immediately if booking with charter? We like to know we can choose exit seats at time of booking

We've booked with Charter this year (we usually book with Virgin Holidays).
Charter have told me that we will get flight references 7 months before the flight, so later than you would get them with Virgin.

However, they were £2.5k cheaper for the same holiday so its a sacrifice we were willing to accept.

I have booked the last two times through them as they were cheaper than I cold get with airlines direct. for next months flights the price we got with charter included bags and seats. for the same price on VA the seats/bags were extra. if you are going within 333 you will get your reference number when you book.

I thought they booked your seats for you, you could ask them?

We were able to book seats with them years ago but not at the time of actual booking the flights. It was several months later. Just wondered if anyone had booked with them recently It’s nice to secure the seats we want from the outset

We have booked Virgin flights with car hire from Charter Travel and for 2 adults and a 17 year old saved nearly £1000 on Virgin's price.

We booked 16th August 2018 for 25th August 2019 and got our flight reference 15th October and booked in the bubble going out and Dibber's Row coming back.

Very happy with them so far but not travelled yet!
