Children/Adults w/Learing Difficulties and Masks

So it looks like Disney have no exemptions for Children/Adults with Learning Difficulties on their mask wearing rules.
Just wondered what people plan on doing regarding this, as I know my daughter will really struggle with it, we are due to go twice in 2021 that's if the travel regulations are lifted.
I have been hoping that things will calm down after the vaccination programme and those rules may be lifted, but that looks unlikely at the minute.

I don’t have any advice to offer, but I hope the mask wearing will end soon.

I guess the only person who knows your daughter really well is you. If there are no exceptions then only you can decide if this will spoil your holiday.

Could you go for short periods only, practise before you go to see how long your daughters tolerance level is. I guess the last resort is to cancel if she cant cope and take a different type of holiday, maybe a villa somewhere that is just your family and no mask needed.

Good luck

We travelled to Cyprus in September this year and wanted our son with an SLD to wear a mask. So we started by him wearing a mask at home with a timer on. We started at 5 minutes and would increase by 3 minutes each day so he was up to wearing it for an hour. Every time we did this we had a tick chart which we would tick and at the end of the flight he would have a gift.
This worked for him and he managed to wear the mask for the whole 4 hour flight (took it off to eat and drink) but he was a superstar wearing it.
