Hilton Gatwick Clubcard Booking

Hello,

I'm looking to book the Hilton Gatwick using my Clubcard vouchers, I have some questions which hopefully someone can answer please?

1. It says that you need to book the tesco redemption rate, however when going through hiltontesco.com but it's only showing the full flexible rate and the hilton honours rate. I asked on chat and they said to just book it as full flexible, but this goes against what the T&Cs say. Has anyone booked the full flexible rate and had no problem paying with tesco Clubcard vouchers?

2. It says on the T&Cs that I'll be charged for one night if I don't show up or if I cancel. I queried this on the chat and was told that I can cancel for free as long as its done by the deadline that's mentioned on the booking. Has anyone had any trouble cancelling a club card booking?

3. As you provide the tesco voucher on check in, can you wait until closer to the time to exchange the Clubcard vouchers? Or do you need to get these exchanged before you book?
