HS2 protest - 100 foot tunnel dug under Euston Square
So HS2 protestors who have been occupying Euston Sq for several weeks have dug a 100ft tunnel which they have now occupied to stop work on HS2.
How on earth have they done this without being noticed? |

More power to them. Its an over priced project really won't do anything for me other than making it 30 minutes quicker to get to London. The environmental impact is more costly.
What made me laugh from this story was a HS2 spokesperson saying that this would be "costly to the taxpayer". Seriously?! This is from a company who were supposed to spend Ł56,000,000,000 but its now Ł106,000,000,000 & climbing!

Its one way of getting their protest and concerns heard and if it hadn’t been for this thread I would be non the wiser now will read up on their concerns - it may be something (environmentally sound) worth considering supporting so thanks OP for the post and head up 👍
