Mobile Changing hotel with Virgin Holidays

Hi, we are going away next August. We are thinking of changing our hotel. Does anyone know if virgin would allow that? Any fees?
Thank you.

They will allow you to do it yes, we've done it before - we done it in 2015 about 3 months before we where due to fly we changed from an I-Drive hotel to Cabana Bay at Universal. We have also changed the hotel for our trip next May (done instore before they all closed and a few days after our initial booking)

I don't recall being charged a fee either time for changing - just paying the difference in price for the hotels x

Do you know if they also allow split stays? Hoping to change to a split if I can.

Si think they do but you have to have at least 5 consecutive nights onsite at Disney

We changed from CBR without dining to AKL with free dining. It cost about £400 more in resort difference but no admin fee. If it had been other way and a cheaper hotel then there was an admin fee.

I wanted to change part of my april 2021 holiday, but got a this on messenger today from Virgin Holidays (after waiting 12 days)...

Hello, due to capacity we are only amending bookings up until September 2020. Please do get in touch again in October 2020. Thanks

Needless to say I'm not too impressed. I'm booked a fly drive which uses K class for PE and needed to upgrade to H so I could use FC miles to Upper.

There are reward upgrade seats available now, but I'll have to wait until October to get any (if there are any left by then) because of this

Great thanks. We currently have 14 days off site but looking to change to next year for 7 on site and then 14 off so may work out. Just have to wait for them to contact now.
