Mobile Rise of the resistance - rider switch?

Does anyone know if rider switch is available on the ride?

Thank you.

I’m assuming only one of us would need to get a boarding group then? A lot of wishful thinking at this moment in time. I doubt we’ll even get to the park early enough to attempt it haha.

No everyone needs a boarding group. The way it worked with us on Tuesday was the 3 of us got a boarding group (it’s no easier getting it for 1 person than 10 people if your are all on my Disney experience together). We were in group 21 and got called at 8.40am. All of us went up to the queue and asked to do rider switch, we were directed to some cast members with iPads who asked who was riding first and who second. We said DH was going first with Dd then I would go second with Dd. She scanned all of our bands did something on the iPad and told DH and Dd to go through the normal queue and when we return Dd and I should go through the fastpass queue. They try to limit the queue to an hour once you enter so there is still abit of a wait, so when Dd and I returned and went through the fastpass queue for the rider switch we missed the main queue and went straight to the start of the experience.

Oh ok. Thanks for the info. To be honest, the more I read about it the more it’s putting me off. We’ve got two little ones so it’s not ideal if we’ve still got to wait for an hour. I think we’ll make the call when we’re there 😬
