My holiday is creeping up fast. Usually at this time I'm excited and buying holiday clothes and ordering dollars. I have no intention of cancelling and I'm sitting tight and hoping for a miracle. If my flights going and I'm allowed to travel then I will be on that plane heading to my happy place.

We've flights into Miami the last week of July. Whilst I accept that it's fairly unlikely we'll be going, every now & then I think there's a very slim chance it might happen.

What if cases had dropped significantly by mid June in the UK & the US, and a so called "air-bridge" was opened? Trump allows flights, the UK allow international travel etc etc, then who knows, maybe just maybe.

We'd a three week holiday planned, & the themepark aspect was just a small part of what we had planned anyway. We cancelled all the themepark tickets in March.

We're happy either way, if it happens excellent, we'll be on that plane... otherwise getting £2400 back will come in handy for other things 😁

Time will tell.

I’d go if it were possible. And if it is possible I might just do that!

We're due to fly at the end of July. As many others have said you're not crazy. If you understand the risks and have thought about your own family circumstances then go for it. We are still hoping to be able to go on our trip, we know there is only a very small chance it will go ahead. Even though we accept we may not travel, the fact that a small chance exists is enough for us.

I'd say 'Not crazy'. Wildly optimistic, maybe, but it's better to be that way.

For us the USA is our favourite place to visit whether it be Florida or another state
We have been to all the parks in the past but now as a couple we love the Florida Gulf coast beaches , thrown in with shopping.
Even though the exchange rate is poor we seem to get lucky with bargains especially down towards Fort Myers and Naples way

As we are in our 50's we always remain positive that we will travel as long as we can

We are booked for October Austin Texas and Florida Gulf coast and as long as the flight is going and BA havent cancelled it and the US restrictions are workable we will be going
