We always split our stay unless we are doing Disney only. We do 5 nights universal and 9 nights Disney. But on our last morning at universal we get up early and get over to Disney to go the their parks without paying the heavier room rate. So it’s 4 days universal and 10 Disney. I wouldn’t be able to do universal last though- it always has to be Disney for us!

Yes although the other way round as we like to finish at Disney. We had planned 2 nights Universal and 13 nights Disney for this year although that’s unlikely to happen now.

We always split our stay, last year we had 7 night cabana bay and 14 Caribbean beach. For our family it makes sense as we love both and knowing you still have Disney to look forward to makes the time at universal even more exciting

I think they might be saying that the Universal hotel is cheaper than a Disney hotel.

To initial question, yes we did a split stay last year. We spent more time at Universal as the previous trip was all Disney and we decided to go shopping rather than theme parks for the middle weekend so we stayed at the cheaper Universal hotel for those nights.

We had a split stay booked for December this year and would be doing 12 at Disney and I think 2 at Universal. We were doing Universal last because it was getting closer to Christmas and Disney would be getting more busy than Universal according to previous crowd indicators.

Yep, each time we have had added a Universal stay onto the end of our trip, the first time we went we just booked one night at Universal in the middle of our stay so that we could get FOLP

very common and fantastic thing to do. We always do Universal first, but thats because its always the busiest days of our holidays. With the express passes it makes sense.

Yes, we often finish our holiday with a few nights at a Universal hotel.
