Is this the one that was supposed to happen in February does anyone know? We were thinking of going to see it when we were there but I’m not sure if it happened.
Also which direction should this be traveling or rather where is best to look (no “in the sky” answers please &#128521

watching this with interest, saw the space link one the other week go over our garden on south coast

will be interested to see this one too if it is visable from Dorset

Yes, it was super exciting! My brother lives in Cornwall and he told me all about it and how to see it etc. I felt SO bad because I saw it here in Cambridge but he couldn’t see it because it came from the west and it was too light for him 😖

Thanks for the heads-up. I’ve just set my phone alarm so I don’t forget! Would be amazing to see if actually fly over 15 mins later. Hopefully it won’t be too dark/cloudy!

When we saw the Starlink one, it was a very bright, fast moving light. We had binoculars and could make out a couple of pin prick lights ( reflections?) at the edges. There was a vapour trail in the sky, I poo - pooed my husband as I thought it was an aeroplane vapour trail. However, there weren’t many planes flying at that time in lockdown and it’s only when I was looking towards the vapour trail that I happened to see the rocket coming - so perhaps he was right?!

We watched the Starlink satellite launch a few weeks ago and then watched it pass overhead a short time later. I was like a child at Christmas and I’m super excited for this one

It should pass overhead from the West. There was a website for the Starlink launch that you could use to track its location live. I’ll have a look for it and link it if I find it

It'll probably look like the ISS when that goes over, fast-ish moving bright dot. We always watch the Youtube live feed then go out to the garden to see it actually go over the house, it'll come from the west and head east.
