Yes there is. If the park hours change then more become available in those extra times.

Plus people do change their plans so if you are lucky you will pick up cancellations.

Yes, as SMAX says above, there's always a chance of getting a fastpass for these rides. You can sometimes even get some on the day.

Of course, the chance is generally low. But it's not impossible.

Hi all - visiting in March and hoped to take advantage of Fast Pass + (30 days in advance), but having looked at this, the big rides are all taken up by the 60 days mark. Seems a bit rubbish! Is is worth it to keep checking daily to see if they become available. Although I'm sure people change plans but dont bother to release fastpass tickets. Also, if they have all gone in advance on line, can you get them from the machines in the park on the day?

You need to sign up for theDIBB park hours notifications. If the park hours extend then you will get the FP+ for the extra hours if you are quick.

First, welcome to the DIBB!

There are no fastpass machines in the park any more. Those went several years ago. You can only book fastpasses online using the app, website, or from kiosks in the park (these just connect to the website).

It is only around 4 or 5 rides that don't have any availability at 30 days. The majority (90%) of rides still have available. This page only shows a small subset of all the rides.

It is worth checking Disney's app or website everyday - and even on the day - to see if any fastpasses become available for popular rides if you want fastpasses for these. It's unlikely any will become available, but it can happen.

Thank you both for the quick, informative replies. We visited Disney several years ago, so not too worried about the rides in WDW which are already booked, but had hoped to get on Smugglers Run, Slinky Dog Dash and Avatar, all of which are fully booked already. We do plan on getting there at opening hours, so hopefully we won't have to wait too long.

Yes, these rides are very popular and therefore very difficult to book. They are often difficult to book at 60 days too. If you keep checking you may be lucky and manage to get fastpasses for one (or more) of these. Or, as SMAX says, sign up to get notifications of park hour changes. If they extend the hours then new fastpasses will become available.

Surfing at Typhoon Lagoon

Hi. Were visiting in August and staying on property (Port Orleans Riverside) for the first five days. Were then moving around, staying at Universal and then a Villa for the rest of the two week break. We purchased a 14-day ticket with our Disney stay.

Were expecting to be able to book fast passes 60-days out for the five days were staying in Disney, all five days available 60 days from our first date (if Ive read this guide correctly).

The question is what happens with bookings for the dates after those five days. Wed assumed that wed be able to book fast passes for those days 30 days in advance however our parents have a similar holiday planned, departing in about a week and theyve struggled to book any passes in advance beyond their Disney stay.

Is this just a glitch for them or is it normal practice?
