Mickeys very merry Christmas party?

Please could anyone advise me if it is worth the extra money and what are the benefits from going? Is it completely different shows at the party? Any advise would be great.

We have done it once and to be honest wouldn’t do it again!
There is snow on Main Street and the parade is lovely, but it was manic the night we went and we couldn’t enjoy it.
The fireworks were lovely and the castle being lit up.
There’s hot chocolate and cookies dotted around where you can go and get them.
For us it didn’t seem value for money, we prefer the Halloween party more.

That’s only our experience, others will come along and say how fab they found it 😊

Jane 😁

We only go if we don’t have regular tickets, it’s a good option to get a Disney fix on the 2 out of 3 years we don’t go to Disney.

No way would I go if we had day tickets.

We did it in 2017 and are doing it again this year. It is a lot of money but we enjoyed it.

Did it in 2017 and wouldn’t do it again, just felt we didn’t get value for money and it was busy!

We did it in 2015 and loved it. The snow on main street, the decorations, the wonderful parade (with the characters, the smells etc), the lighting up of the castle, the stage show, the rare character meet and greets, the short queues for the rides and the different photo opportunities made it a fantastic evening! Oh and the cookies and hot chocolate!

We really loved it. We did the Halloween party last year but we preferred the Christmas party - although we prefer Christmas to Halloween normally so that could be why.

We had normal 14 day tickets and paid for the party, I would pay again for the Christmas party.

We both really enjoy MVMCP & will be attending two of them when we are over in a couple of weeks.
For us we think it's money well spent, the park is stunning when it's decorated for Christmas & there is really is a special vibe during the parties.
We tend not to worry too much about getting on rides when we are there & instead focus on the shows, the parade & fireworks & meeting characters.
Everybody has a different view on whether they are worth the money & I'm not getting into whether I think someone is right or wrong, we enjoy them & they have become an important part of our trips when we are there at this time of year.

I totally agree with this. Not worth the extra money if you already have day tickets IMHO.
