Simple light lunch (sandwiches)
Hi all. We're not big eaters at lunch and prefer to have a bigger dinner. Was looking at disney menus for sandwiches, wraps etc but can't see much except Earl of Sandwich but that's in the Springs area not parks. Does usa know what baked potatoes are? I know sandwiches at the hotel will be expensive for what they are but probably still cheaper than a cooked meal? Any problems taking sandwiches into the park? Suggestions for universal too please.
No suggestions please for a walmart shop as no car and don't really want to be preparing too much in room. Thanks 😉 Edited at 07:22 PM. Reason: Update |

Colombia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom is one of our favourites due to the sandwiches they sell, including the veggie Lighthouse Sandwich - disneyworld.disney.go/en...r-house/menus/

POFQ had very few take away sandwich options available, in the way we normally think of sandwiches- lots of burgers/hot sandwiches etc. I didn't look specifically but I think it was only 1-2 options. Might vary by hotel but I wouldn't rely on being able to get much there to take in with you.
Starbucks might be a good bet |

Have a look at the dining menus on the MDE. You can apply filters for each park, put in your options like counter service or truck etc, a list should come up then just press rhe menu bit. Resort shops should have stuff too.

Universal Studios has a baked potato cart at the harry potter area, just outside by the purple bus, filled pots ate $8.49 each and people rave about them

Sounds good Disney Nanny. I haven't seen baked potatoes listed anywhere so thought maybe Americans didn't do them!

They used to do baked potatoes at a cart in magic kingdom and POFQ used to always have them. Outside parks sweet tomatoes have baked potatoes.
