eurostar

Does anyone know what is available in the buffet car on the Eurostar? We have never been on the Eurostar before so are unsure what to expect.

They definitely do hot drinks, cold drinks, and pastries. I've heard they do selected hot stuff, but I'm sure someone said it's stuff they just pop in the microwave.

You can take your own food and drink on the Eurostar (and to Disney) there's not as many restrictions as flying. Xx

They do sandwiches, pastries, crisps, chocolates, soft drinks and alcohol. We normally take our own food with us though.

Yes, pop into M&S before you go through security. Much cheaper and better quality.

Assuming you're going from St Pancras I'd just grab something from M&S (before security) or Pret (after security).

There’s also an M&S at Ebbsfleet if you’re going from there.

We often make up some croissants (ham cheese etc) the night before and take them with us - nothing open when we usually hit the ES terminal when we pop to Bruges lol! Going from Ashford this time and its a bit later but we'll probably take our own anyway - nicer and cheaper lol!

Don't use the buffet car if you can help it (simply because you'll be in a long queue).

As others have said, you can take your own picnic onto the Eurostar with you, so do that .

Buy before you get on... or make up your own sarnies before hand... It's honestly not worth the effort while you're onboard. You're not on long enough to be fair so as long as you've eaten a good breakfast you'll be alright.

It's not great to be honest. Not much choice and always long queues. I'd take food with you if you can.
