Magicband issue with rebook holiday

I was due to go in May 2020 and had bought a posh magicband with 2020 on.

The band had been dispatched to AOA and my rebooked holiday is Sept 2021 and at Pop.

I asked for a refund for it and this arrived within a couple of days

But looking at my MDE the band is now listed as active..

I don't hold out any hope of getting it in 18 months time

Should I deactivate it and when I check in should I report it lost and ask for a replacement or would that be better in the parks ( would not want a grey one).

Any advice - others must have had this before.

Just leave it, you may get it another one anyway, they last, mine is still acitve and we haven't been for 2 years

I did not even know that Disney had refunds our Magicbands back to my Credit card on the 24th April until I got a text message last week to say that they were being refunded. To be honest I totally forgot about them and as I had canceled the trip 15th March did not give them a second thought. The 24th of April was our check-in date so it was refunded that day as yet we have not booked as none of us feel like we want to travel for a while.

I moved our holiday from May and asked for a refund on our Magicbands and I was told this wasn't possible unless we cancelled

Can you not order new ones for your rebooked stay at the Pop?

I had a refund for my magic bands on my cancelled April trip, they are not showing up in my list of magic bands on MDE.

we have about 8 or 9 each that are still active

just contact disney and they should offer a refund and reorder for your next trip

It is odd I have had the refund and asked for the band to be removed from the mde so i can rebook. But the band is active and no rebooking
