It was a lovely day thanks Diane we loved it so much.

I doubt we'll be going i booked the flights last year as soon they came out so of course we had no idea what was about to happen.

I'm just glad I didn't say anything to the kids.

It difficult to know how you'll really feel even though you know you love Disney.

The park was different but every bit magical

I think the low crowd levels early in the morning really help don't they. Yes Nicky it's great to experience new Disney rides.
Ahh did you do the same, it makes it all feel so exciting not knowing what's going to happen doesn't it x

No wonder you were tired after your late night and early start, you did really well to go back in the evening to see the fireworks.
Thanks Lynda it really is a lovely park. It's a lot smaller but it great that you don't have to walk far to the next ride or attraction!

We couldn't miss the change to see some Disney fireworks

I just adore Disneyland, it's so gorgeous, but it does feel very busy because of the narrow pathways!
Mickey beignets are always one of our first stops lol, always about the food!
Indiana Jones is such a good ride, I really love it and remember riding it when I was 9 and being terrified when the big boulder rolls towards you!
Splash Mountain is deffo a soaker at Disneyland we always get drenched!
We too love the scoopy ice cream at Gibson Girls, it's always a must have for us at parade time!
Oh yes I didn't think about the smaller pathways making it seem more busy. We loved the compact and sometimes intimate feel of the park.

Wow i don't think i would have gone on Indiana Jones at 9. What a lovely memory for you tough

We got soaked lol a lot wetter than the usual WDW version!

Sounds like a perfect must do Natalie.

Thanks for reading along

Aw this day gave me goosebumps! Nothing like the excitement of a brand new park.

How did you get the early entry? Is it based on tickets or hotels there?

You did so well getting so many rides done & pleased you got to see the fireworks.

Can’t wait to read tomorrow xx

Aww thanks Michelle.
