Looking for printer advice
We did have an inkjet printer which I ditched because the ink dried up after not being used. Since I stopped cardmaking, I do not have much use for a printer and our DD very kindly lets me use hers. However, I would like to have the independence of our own printer.
So first question is - is there a way of resealing inkjet cartridges between usage? I suspect not. Second question - is there such a thing as a cheap good laser colour printer? Probably the words ‘cheap’ and ‘good’ aren’t compatible. But worth the question. Any advice would be greatly appreciated please. Edited at 01:12 PM. |

a decent laser will set you back £200-250ish, but this HP unit looks pretty nice, small and well specced, and is only £130
amazon/dp/B07R99FQ...nguag e=en_GB lasers are the way forward if you only do occasional printing and have had issues with ink carts drying/heads becoming blocked. personally, id stump up a little more for something with larger/cheaper carts that can print on both sides, but you could do a lot worse than this little HP. *edit* you're looking at £100-150 for a full replacement set of toner carts (£100 for compatible, £150 for hp originals) but you can get some printers which cost £50-100 for a full new set if you spend a bit more on the printer to begin with Edited at 05:00 PM. |
