Can adults eat from kids menu?

Hi all, me again.

Looking at restaurant menus again before going to try calling and booking our restaurants for our summer trip. My query tonight is as above: there’s a couple of table service places where I don’t particularly like the choices of the plus menus but could easily eat from the kids. Is this allowed?
We have free half board plus plan and I know I can use the meal voucher at its value towards a main course or premium menu but just wondering.
Reason for eating there would be more for the atmosphere and theming for the kids really.

My friend had the child's meal at Auberge a couple of years ago.. but they just gave her a bigger portion and charged her the normal adult price (we didn't have a meal plan).

They definitely won't let you eat of the child menu at child price though, they wouldn't let my 12 year old have it last year even though I knew she'd never eat even half of an adult meal.

Thanks! That’s good to know they allowed her to do it. Yes, I can imagine it’d still be the adult price though which is fine.

Yes. My eldest DD is a teenager 'adult' and ate from the childrens menu. This was in Auberge and remy. It was part of the free dining plan.
