Advice on theme parks tickets

Hi hope someone can advise please...we are wanting to visit Disney two parks, universal, six flags theme and water park and San Diego parks.

Just wondering if there’s a better / cheaper way of buying the tickets for all attractions instead of tickets for individual parks.

When we went Florida we just bought a 14 day Disney pass for example so just wondering if there’s something similar for California we could buy that works out cheaper.

Thanks for any advice as not been to California before.

Similarly to how you need a disney ticket and a separate universal/universal and partners ticket for florida, you need to buy separate tickets for disney.

Disney passes can be bought online either direct or I recommend attractiontickets.com, up to a 5 day ticket, you shouldn't need more than that. I'm not sure if 1 day tickets must be bought direct.

Then for the other attractions have a look at the GoCity cards, the 3 day and up 'all inclusive' up Go LA pass includes six flags magic mountain, knotts berry farm and universal, you can also do a build your own option or set attractions, its a case of working out how to fit the pass days around where you are and what you need to do

However, it may not work out worthwhile or suitable to fit your timings, so tickets for each location might be necessary, check out the above website, expedia, attractiontix.com and you can go through topcashback and similar to save further

In San Diego, we used a Gosandiego5. This gave us

Seaworld
All the Balboa Park attractions inc San Diego Zoo.
The Zoo Cable Car
USS Midway
Harbour cruise N
Harbour cruise S
Scripps Observatory in La Jolla
Kayaking at La Jolla (cancelled due to Sea state).
Legoland Carlsbad.

Fortunately for us, other than Horse riding, it covered everything that we wanted to do.

The Go LA card covers some of what you want across both LA and San Diego

gocity/los-angeles/en-us

You need to look at what you would use and compare the prices to see if it is of value.

Disney, we always book direct as we are usually only there 1-2 days. More is just overkill for such a small park unless you are going with very young children.

Universal is a one day park and going direct gets you the early entry to Harry Potter World which makes the day much easier.

Six flags & Hurricane Harbour is in the Go LA card as seperate tickets.
