I am considering a trip later in the year via Miami and was wondering what is the best route to Naples and how easy is it to drive from the airport in particular. My wife thinks there is a new road which has made it easy to make this trip compared to some years ago.

It’s an easy enough drive. Must admit we set the sat nav to get us out of the city and then it’s Alligator Alley all the way to Naples

We do it every year and always go via the Tiamiami trail. Takes about 2 hours and is always very quiet. Also some great spots to pull over and see the wildlife. Unfortunately some of it dead where it’s been run over ☹️ even alligators!
