Our local butcher
Our local butcher sells a good range of meat, mostly from local sources as we have several farms within a few miles.
I'm used to them offering venison, rabbit, game birds etc. However yesterday I noticed they are selling diced goat. 🤔🤔. I'm really surprised at this. Does anyone know how you'd cook goat, is this a popular meat in most butchers shops ? |

you should be able to pick up a tub of this from your local asian supermarket for around £1-£1.50...
amazon/Tropical-Su...nguag e=en_GB 1kg goat meat, washed and cubed, 2½ tbsp Tropical Sun Curry Goat Seasoning, ½ tsp Tropical Sun Ground Black Pepper 1 sprig fresh thyme, 1 tsp salt 2 tsp of Tropical Sun Minced Garlic Paste 1 medium onion, finely chopped, 2 spring onions, chopped 1 scotch bonnet pepper, finely chopped 2 carrots, chopped 2 sticks celery, chopped 150ml Tropical Sun Rapeseed Oil 1ltr water, boiling 1 tsp Tropical Sun Lamb Stock cook for a few hours until tender. also works with mutton. i like to add a little creamed coconut, it adds a nice smoothness to it. i also use (homemade) beef or chicken stock instead of water serve with rice and peas (beans) Edited at 12:40 PM. |

Very helpful thanks.
I don't know if we have an Asian or Caribbean supermarket here in Chelmsford, never seen one. Perhaps a local Dibber knows of one. I'll check google. Edited at 12:43 PM. |
