It not an opinion as such, as I believe she is yet to experience the ride

If I had said "it is rubbish" then I would take your point.

But surely the addition of the words "it looks" makes the need to add "in my opinion" redundant, because I have already said that it is my point of view ... you know how *it looks* obviously means from my eyes.

I managed to get on twice on different days in December. It doesn’t look rubbish close up and the experience beats any ride I’ve been on anywhere else ever. 😁

It looks like some people in this thread are getting as pedantic as I am on a good day.

Most people's opinion seems to be that RotR is one of the best theme park dark rides currently in existence (when it's up and running properly ). It has certainly attracted enough interest to make it one of the most popular rides in the world (as the first post in this thread points out).

We're going August... the Missus ain't fussed, but tyke and I are, so we're planning several HS/GE visits in our three week stay.

I'm prepared for the virtual queue and the early get up to achieve this... what will leave me terribly vexed (to quote Joaquin Phoenix in Gladiator), would be them changing it to a FP+ ride within 60 days of us going... that's our biggest worry.

Is it possible to get to park for opening, secure a spot on a boarding pass for a full group if the others havent arrived into the park as yet?
I.e. I go for rope drop but my family gets there an hour later - can I reserve them with just me in the park?
