I'm going to be 51 and I want to ride ALL the big rides

I never usually ride them (too,scared!) but as I'm turning 50 this year and will be 51 next year when we're in Florida I would love to just go for it!

Am I mad?

What if I change my mind after I've sat down?

What if I have a funny turn?


But then I may just enjoy the rides! Getting into the mode of thinking if I'm happy and healthy at 50 then I need to just grab life and enjoy it!

I’m 50 this year and wouldn’t consider not doing the extreme rides.
Actually there is one I won’t do and that’s Rip Ride. Did it on our last visit - we queued for 45 minutes and had developed a migraine while waiting - not one to do with a migraine!

Just think - it's 90seconds of your life (for the most part) - what's the worst that can happen.

I took my 80 year old mum on Big Thunder Mountain twice back-to-back last year - she can't wait for this year and wants to try Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!

If you feel iffy afterwards you don’t have to do that one again, just give yourself a few minutes to recover and off you go to the next one 😊

I’m 37 and have a bad heart, when we first went I bottled everything. And was so disappointed when we came home that I didn’t do much. Last year I went on everything except things that went upside down (on the advice from my cardiologist) and had such an amazing time with my husband and the kids!
