This is our first year that the little elf has come to stay with us 🎄 has anyone got good ideas what he can get up too ?

I have pretty well missed this (except we are babysitting tonight so will have to get involved). Tesco are selling the cutest little leather jackets for elves, wish I'd picked a couple up now!

Ours does a lot of playing with my daughters other toys.
Tea party
Cooking at her toy kitchen
Doing a jigsaw
Brings chocolate one morning
I only do a few of the messy ones.
Snow angel with flour
Spilling cereal on floor

ETA: we always put our elf back on his swing each morning that hangs from our ceiling light. My DH was eating yougurt right under the elf yestery morning and the cheeky elf dropped himself right into the bowl of yougurt yesterday 😂 it was really funny!

For me I try not to do anything that I’m going to then have to tidy up the next day. We have done:
Riding a toy of my dd’s.
Hanging in the Xmas tree.
Playing the switch.
Riding the Xmas train.
Hiding in a school bag.
Colouring at the table.
Sitting in my dd’s boots.

We are pretty boring about it 😂 but I just don’t need the extra tidying up.

I think I'll just sit them each in a glass next to an empty wine bottle - assuming I can find one of course.

I hate these silly little elves. Every night I have to think of something and then clean it up in the morning.
Wish they would go visit Santa but kids say no. They unfortunately find them hilarious.

No ideas what so ever. I have a panic think every night instead. Other day they were stuck in a box and last night they put toilet roll on a very small tree

My daughter got a little door and put it in the wall (like a mouse hole ) and said they had gone to report back to Santa for a couple of days. Another year they disappeared because Santa was soo busy he recalled them to help with toy making!
