Dh & I had baked potato beans and corned beef tonight as we just wanted some plain food. Tomorrow night we are going out to eat with our boys. Have eaten so much rubbish this last week I just feel I am constantly topping myself up with food. I’ve forgotten what hunger feels like and looking forward to starting my diet again !

I made a big fish pie for five, as the adults kids are all home now. Took a while boiling and mashing potatoes, making the sauce, cleaning up etc, but everyone enjoyed it.
Tomorrow I think it will be the cooked ham with pickles, salad and nibbles. |

Party food here!
We endured the crowds at M&S for a few last minute bits and just slung a load of it in the trolley. I was way past putting any effort into cooking! |

We had Costco festive sandwiches today. Tomorrow we will have our traditional takeaway pizza. DH and I have tried various things on Christmas Eve but for one reason or another (left it too late and only takeaway open, power went out and only takeaway that would deliver). Now it would feel weird without it 😂

We had chip shop tonight as I forgot to plan dinner because I was too busy planning tomorrow’s picky food.
It’s basically picky food through to new year now (apart from Christmas Day) |
