Christmas is Over!
Well, Christmas is (almost) over. It’s the twelfth day of Christmas, so after today that’s it. We’ve just taken down the decorations and packed everything away into the loft. All done for this Christmas.
I hope everyone else had a great time like we did. And, don’t worry, only 355 days (I think) until next Christmas.

Rooms look quite bare, but couldn't quite put my Christmas village away just yet. Am sure the year will whizz by again! I've noticed the evening light up time is a bit later already!

Packed up today here too and it's now all back in the loft.. Everything looks so bare and I miss my twinkly lights. I enjoyed saying "Alexa turn on Christmas" and all the lights came on!

Nice to have the house back. Have had trees in 2 windows preventing us closing the curtains, so nice to be able to close them and it feels snuggly. Not looking forward to waking up at 7am for school tomorrow.

We are keeping our outside lights up, we have two children with January birthdays so the lights make their birthdays a little bit brighter. 🎂🎁

I thought it was after the 12th Night the tree and decorations came down as the 3 wise men visited Jesus on the 6th Jan after following the lights. Anyway we took them down on the 1st Jan.
Love the pic above of the tree and the Earl of Sandwich. My favourite place to eat at Disney. Edited at 07:06 AM. |
