Are you holding out for the free Disney dining?
As the title suggests... are you waiting until April to book? There is no guarantee that the offer will come up in April, but if we go by previous years then it could be likely.
I guess there is the old debate on whether the overall holiday cost increases in order to offer the‘ free’ dining. Just wondering your thoughts? |

We were but we decided just to book. We didn't do dining plan last time and were too bothered.

I would always wait to see what April brings. With the exception of one year when Disney coincided the annual price increase with the release of free dining the price doesn’t change when free dining is offered so for me it’s a no brainer. We don’t book a package so don’t need to worry about overall holiday costs being linked to the offer.

The worry for us is booking Disney accommodation and waiting for the air fares to come out. We stand to lose £50 per person if we can’t find cheap flights that’s a total of £350. We might be able to rebook our rooms to a later date but that depends on availability and if Disney allow it. I was probably nieve not booking single occupancy in each of the 3 rooms but hey ho even after more than 25 years I’m still learning.

We are waiting to see if it’s released, looking at the school holiday prices for 2021 we can’t justify going without it! Even with it it looks like we may be out priced 🙁 doesn’t help that my now 10 year old is now an adult 🙄

We waited last year until April to see if free dining would be offered for this year. I’m not sure if I’d pay for onsite without the free dining perk. However, this was before flight prices went crazy so I’d think carefully in future about what I’d do. It’s so difficult when booking separately to consider all possibilities. I’d definitely still wait to see free dining offers first, though. It seems odd to me to be book so far out without some offer in place. Maybe that’s just me?

I’m waiting, but think it will be a Value ,with one free QS meal, if it is offered.

We're waiting to see what they offer. Hoping to do an onsite stay July 2021 after dd finishes her GCSE's as well as a villa and Universal. May rent points otherwise.

Same here, waiting to see what will be offered as we are planning to go late August to early September next year. If not, we will be staying offsite and possibly rent DVC for a few days. I don’t think we could justify the onsite costs without the dining offer.

We are waiting too but will depend on price. We liked the convenience of the free dining but to be honest we probably would prefer not having it as we tend to like appetisers and not order dessert a lot so its a lot of food. But when its free its hard to say no!
