Harry Potter Studio Tour London

Hi All

Have booked the HP studio tour in London for DH's birthday - we don't go till May (can't wait for a Butterbeer top up to keep us going till our Florida trip later this year ).

My question is ... can we use our interactive wands from Florida? Hope so, that would be awesome.

Can't see any reference to it on the website. Thanks all

It's quite different to Univeral Studios. It's more of a museum than a theme park. I love going and have been several times as they add new sections. I haven't seen any interactive exhibits like at Universal, sorry.

As far as I’m aware you can’t use the interactive wands there.

As mentioned above, it isn’t a theme park and doesn’t really have interactive bits in it. Instead you get to see the sets and props used in the films, and find out information about the making of the movies.

If you want to be spoiled a little, you can look at my photo trip report below. Although it was a few years ago when we visited, so some parts might have changed.

We were there in Jan and it didn't look to have any interactive aspects.

Also... The butterbeer tasted nothing like Florida and wasn't particularly to our tastes - the butterbeer ice cream was delicious though!

Only other thing I'd say is we spent 6 hours there and the outside bit was only about 15minutes of that, so provided it's not whizzing down with rain I'd highly advise leaving your coat in the cloak room... I'd rather have frozen for 15 minutes than carry my coat round for the other 5 hours and 45 minutes like I did!

No interactive wands opportunities, but it is a really good day out. We’ve been recently and there were quite a few changes since our visit 3 years earlier. Loved it.

Apologies for jumping on this thread but we're visiting on Tuesday. Can I take my own food in? I believe it's expensive there and we've booked for 9am entry so going off pp we'd be out at 3 and need lunch?
