Anyone had any luck without a VPN? I tried contacting disney via social media but nothing...

I got following response to my query about the problem :

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort!

We are happy to hear that you will be visiting us soon, but saddened to know that you have experienced challenges when attempting to order your MagicBands.

Based on the information provided in your e-mail, we were able to partner with the Internet Help Desk. We were able to determine that you are visiting from the United Kingdom and we have identified that many Guests with the UK are experiencing similar challenges. While we are working on resolving this challenge as soon as possible, we do not have a current ETA.

In some cases, Guests however have had success switching to the U.S. bases site to customize their order. To do this, on the Disneyholidays.co.uk main page click the menu option called "Things to Do". Once the following page opens, you may click the "UK & Ireland (English)" link appearing next to "Welcome Ross" at the top of your account and, from the pop-up that appears, select "United States (English)". From there, you would attempt to customize your order.

If you have any other questions or challenges, please do not hesitate to contact Disney's Internet Help Desk at 0800 16 90 749. Their hours of operation are 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, 365 days a year and they will be happy to assist you provided your order would be comprised of Complimentary (not Premium Style) MagicBands only.

It doesn’t work for me either, so back to VPN. At least they have acknowledged theirs a problem 😁

I downloaded a vpn and accessed fine but limited choice! Still not had a reply from annual passholder help desk but expect it to mirror the unhelpful one sent above. They do value the big contingent of Brits that visit every year!
