Sanaa bread service with ADR
We have the dining plan but considering paying OP for Sanaa and just ordering the bread service and couple of appetisers between 5 of us. Is that possible with an ADR? The reason I’m considering this is I understand the bread service isn’t available on the dining plan and the bread is the main thing I want to order. I don’t think we’ll manage to eat the bread plus a full meal. Anyone done this?

I wasn’t sure if we would be expected to order a meal or could just order the bread service.

You can certainly make an ADR for anywhere.
You can order the bread service but I don't think it's on the DDP so you would be paying out of pocket for it. That is not a problem for the restaurant though. I believe the bread service is available in the lounge, maybe just eat there instead?

We were on the ddp last August and visited Sana’a, there is a small bar area just inside and to the left of the restaurant with one long table and a couple of smaller ones. We sat at the long table with another family and paid oop for the bread service and a couple of cocktails and loved it! We didn’t make a reservation, just stopped in after a day at AK.

As Sparksy72 go to the lounge have the bread service and a couple of cocktails and enjoy. Exactly what we did.
You can always book Sanaa if you want a full meal.

Thanks all. I think I’ll keep my ADR for now but it’s good to know we can just order the bread service and won’t need to order a full meal.
