Booking flights with Virgin Points
Hi everyone,
There are two of us due to go to Florida in October 2021. I have enough Virgin Points for one round trip in premium and I have a couple of questions, assuming a miles seat is available: 1 - will I have to book the miles seat and money seat separately? 2 - do I book each miles leg as it is released or do I need to wait for the return leg and book the round trip all at once? Thanks for your help! |

1. Yes. the system can't handle two different methods on the same booking.
2.You can book them separately but be aware if for any reason the return doesn't become available you will have a non refundable cash seat locked in if you book that at the same time as the first reward leg. |

Taker, I don't suppose you have the VA credit card? Just wondering if you might have a companion voucher sitting on there too.

It's worth just checking at it's not always obvious on your account when you do have one. I think for the standard card, it's 20k across the year. If you did have it you would only have to pay miles for your ticket and just the taxes on your companion's
