Tickets and disney hotels

If you have a split holiday with the first 10 days at universal and the last 4 days of your holiday at Disney hotel
If you add the 14 day park tickets to the Disney booking will Disney allow you to start using the tickets at the start of your holiday or for the time you check into the accommodation and only giving you 4 days out of the 14

If you buy a hotel + ticket package from Disney, the ticket will be valid from the checkin day of your Disney hotel. I'm not sure if you are able to contact them directly and change that.

If you wanted to be able to access Disney when you're staying over at Universal, you may need to buy your ticket separately from your Disney hotel in order that you can have a different start date.

If the purchase of the ticket is one of the conditions of an offer then usually you can’t access it prior to check in at Disney. If it isn’t then there’s not really any reason why you shouldn’t be able to use it whenever you want but it may be complicated if you buy it as part of a ticket and hotel package.

You could do it the other way around. Stay at Disney first, then Universal. That way you'd be able to use your Disney tickets from the beginning of your holiday. If you definitely want to stay at Universal first, you could book the Disney hotel as room only and buy your tickets separately.

Yea the universal was going to be prior to the 26th sept and Disney for the celebrations.
Looking at Disney hotels I may get 4 nights dvc at okw or boardwalk and get tickets from attractions tickets.

May move to Disney on the 25th for our wedding anniversary

There shouldn’t be a problem using the tickets before your Disney check in then.
