Just loged on and my feb trip has now been changed to lhr both ways. I want to change our seats as although we are all togeather we are in the middle and would prefer a window however all the seats are blacked out at the moment so will keep an eye out for if that changes.
Im just so pleased its still direct. |

I know this tread is about Gatwick but Our glasgow flights 24th Sep - 3rd oct are still the 747.
We are in PE and on the return flight there are more booked seats than there are PE seats in the new plane types. Wish they would sort it out so we know where we stand. Edited at 11:03 AM. |

For those whose flights are now showing as LHR instead of LGW - are they indirect? If so, does this class as a 'major change' and give you the option to cancel?

We’re due to travel on 9th October and both virgin Atlantic and virgin holidays apps are still showing Gatwick on 747. When i check Heathrow for that date it’s an indirect flight (a Friday) We want to rearrange to next year before balance is due in July. Are they contacting folk or do I need to contact them?

We are still showing direct from LGW to MCO on a 747 on the 6th August, returning on the 25th.
Have a feeling Virgin are moving over flights that they think will go ahead, but leaving the ones that they think they will cancel.

Mine are still showing as Gatwick for the 27th Dec - 10th Jan. Sounds like they have started moving the flights over now though.

We are flying in July and haven't been contacted yet, they said it was going to be done in departure order but who knows. I want to rebook for October half term but can't yet due to the flights still showing as LGW and mostly no availability anyway due to the plane changes.

That’s the worry, that you won’t get the availability or a decent price if it’s left too long. We’re hoping to change from a week in October to 3 weeks in June flying from glasgow instead of London
