Dibb 2021 weight loss for charity?

The problem is there is so much left over from Xmas (chocolates, cheese, biscuits etc). It’s hubby’s birthday (out comes Prosecco), it’s too blooming cold to walk for long outside as my hands freeze (yes I have gloves and those little heat pads). Definitely can’t be a##ed to start jogging.
So here’s my plan... one less!
1 less drink.
1 less biscuit
1 less roast potato
1 less chocolate
1 less hour sitting on my bum (cleaning, walking anything but sitting!)
Next week this will be joined by... wait for it... one more!
1 more exercise (small or big, 1 squat, 1 walk up and down stairs whilst kettle boils, 1 more walk etc).
1 more glass of water
1 more press-up (🤣 well I’m hopeful there!).
Small steps that you can keep up becomes good habits that you can keep.
Small is sustainable and doable and it’s easier than going cold Turkey or giving yourself unrealistic aspirations.

Sandra that calender's is only a guide not really accurate! I hate dieting, I love my wine and I don't even have a little dog to walk, we can do this. X

I’m still eating at the moment, I have lost 1 lb but my hearts not in it. I’m kinda thinking where am I going to look nice for, having a down day x

Hi Sandra

Don't do it to look nice.. do it to feel better! I remember a quote once that said 'don't exercise because you hate your body.. exercise because you love your body'... and it made me look at my diet and activity in a totally different light!

Also, re. vaccinations, I do not mean to give false hope, but my best friend used the calculator last week and it said there was 4 million people in the queue before her. Low and behold, she's having it tomorrow!

Aw Sandra, I understand why you would be feeling so down but as everyone has said that calculator is a (very) rough guide so don’t let it guide your decisions. Tomorrow is a new day, hopefully you’ll feel a bit better.
