Thanksgiving Dinner...
Hello,
We’re going as a party of 6 and one of our party last went in 1986! He was saying that the hotel they were staying at held a traditional thanksgiving dinner for guests followed by a little party. We are going to be there over thanksgiving this year and when I have been over previous years I don’t remember seeing anything about anywhere doing this (in fact one year, Denny’s was the only restaurant open on the 192). Does anyone know of anywhere we can book a traditional Thanksgiving dinner this year? Thanks in advance. Katie

Do a google search and you will find plenty. Whole Foods packs a Thanksgiving Feast to go and other supermarkets probably do too. Usually, they must be ordered in advance.

I’m sure I’ve read on another post that Bob Evans is open

We had a lovely traditional Thanksgiving dinner at Bob Evans last year. Cost around $20 a head including pies and sodas. All being well we'll be there again this 22 November.
Had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner at Villa de Flora in Gaylord Palms back in 2010. Around $60 a head. Mick

Mick. Can't fault that $20 for value. We tend to not be there for Thanksgiving but the odd few times we have we have always enjoyed the set menu in certain WDW restaurants.
I lay odds it was twice the price of Bob Evans and probably no better!

We had a thanksgiving dinner in Bob Evans last year, it was great value for money. My wife enjoyed it that much she was begging them to cook her one during our visit this September

Thanks guys! Looks like Bob Evans is going to be the place to be. I’m guessing I’d need to make a reservation?

We did a walk up last year at the one on 192 at around 6pm and seated straight away. Don't think they take reservations at BE. Not sure that you can even ring ahead to get on a list.
Service a bit slower maybe than a normal dinner time. Mick
