My youngest daughter’s school also can’t tell me yet, but for the last 6 years the first 2 days of the autumn term have been inset days and the first day back is just a 15 min appointment with the teacher for target setting. That would make her first full day back Tuesday 8th sept. Huge difference in holiday prices landing back on 7th.

We like to book early so took a gamble this year and booked based on the fact they broke up later this year - turns out they went back earlier as well so the holidays were a week shorter and our lad missed 4 days!
No drama he caught up quickly but it was annoying how late they confirmed dates |
