Christmas decorations at the parks-disruptive?
We are visiting on 2nd Nov for 14 nights.
We have booked AK for the 5th and the Xmas celebrations start on the 8th... not sure how easy it is to change the dates as they are one day tickets and linked to MDE All the other celebrations start from the 16th (the day we leave) I've been for Xmas and it was magical but we aren't travelling with little ones this time. Is there much disruption when the decorations go up? Will parts of the parks be closed during the day etc? Haven't visited during the weeks leading up to Xmas before |

No disruption at all. They are done overnight. I wouldn’t change your plans at all

Ok thanks...not sure if AK with the new Christmas decorations that are planned would be worth a visit or stick to our original plans...
Not sure I'll be ready for Xmas in early November though

You won’t notice much at all. We were there the other year on Halloween the last night of the party. Heading in the Main Street Station had Halloween decorations on next morning it had Christmas garlands up and presents in front. The only thing which may take extra time is the tree which could be blocked off as you head under the railway into the park as this can take a bit longer.
