Coronado Springs - Any one just back? / There now?

I just wondered how the hotel was looking with the constuction. We are there in just over 50 days.

We are there in 49 days (for 7 nights so will be there at same time!)

On recent videos the tower is progressing really quickly. It doesn't seem to be that big a deal unless you are staying in the area right next to it, the rooms other the other side of the resort are far enough away for it not to be an issue.

Really looking forward to staying at Coronado - stayed at Old Key West and Saratoga so don't mind a big resort with nice walks. The pool looks excellent, as does the resort as a whole.

I just see the construction as the reason we got a good saving on the room - which we can spend at the parks.

We drove past it a few times from the beach club to animal kingdom (been back a week) That are making good progress on the tower but still a while to go. It looks fairly contained so hopefully it should inpact too much. Coronado is our favourite moderate resort and there are so many other benefits of staying there. I’m sure you’ll be fine.

We got back from CSR last week. Didn’t find the construction an issue at all, yes it is an eye sore, but we barely heard a thing. We were in casitas 5 which was a brilliant location & the refurbished rooms are really really nice.

We got back in May and also didn't find it an issue. We were in 8b so we walked past the tower every morning to go for breakfast. I found it strangely intriguing to see the small changes every day.

I have to say I think you can ignore the tower as you just look away where as the lake restaurant construction was more intrusive as you couldn't get a view without seeing it.

we visited CSR in may, although we didn't stay there I was just curious

the construction didn't seem as disruptive as I expected it to be

the only thing that bothered me was walking in front of the tower coming from casitas zone (and the right part of ranchos)
you walk over (close to) a large body of still water. Smelled like a swamp, and it wasn't pleasant at all. . And I imagined walking through that stench everyday to go get a mug refill ... no ...

but apart from this and the eyesore it wasn't as bad as I anticipated it to be.
