Kayak - too complicated?

Maybe it's just me but the website Kayak seems too complicated. Anybody else? Good prices if you can accept one or two stops though.

I'm the opposite, it's one of my faves along with skyscanner and google flights. Lots of flexibility and easy to filter out flights I'm not interested in.

I tend to use Skyscanner but liked it for seeing what airlines fly where and what times they fly plus direct comparison for costings.

I thought the same but then I am a skyscanner user. Maybe it's just what you get used to but I prefer skyscanner.

I like a gander at a few, Skyscanner, Kayak, the Matrix that CantCook recommended, Opodo, Netflights et al... bear in mind a lot of the aforementioned offer cash back via Quidco/Top Cash Back. LastMinute's worth a look too. Last August, when VA's sale kicked off, we bought that November's PE flights via LM, including the 2.2% Quidco cash back we paid £687pp vs VA's £807. Pre-flight VA's prices were nigh on £1100, so a canny sale.

Maybe not so much Kayak but the other sites their links take you to. Many just quote airport codes, not so keen on anything other than non-stop during winter.

You can put filters on so you only get non-stop.

If wanting direct flights use the search engine filter, unfortunately one is fairly limited with winter direct carriers. I do agree it's best to avoid in-direct via north east USA due to the abundance of snow they see.

We use VA from Man to MCO, and drive 150 miles SW, but now VA're flying their A330-300 aircraft with PE cabin we're reverting back to Man to RSW via Atl, which is cheaper plus we don't require car hire. If savings are fairly significant over VA fares I'll use a known 3rd party.

Noticed its much more complicated with the new light fares. Just booked Norwegian flights netflights via skyscanner. Netflights were way down the list and £25 more than the cheapest, but the cheapest had no bags or extras, ours had seat booking included, 2 x 20kg hold luggage each and meals too. Takes time but you really do need to click through the link of each booking agent to see who's offering the best deal.

Ended up with Norwegian direct into and out of FLL for £318 inc all the extras for the 21st September to the 3rd October which I thought was fairly good.

Just looked at Norwegian, not bad prices. LowFare+, Is there just one meal and no checked bags normally?
