Hong Kong Disneyland to close for 2 weeks

Just been reading the the HK parks are to close again due to omicron outbreak.

Up to recently HK has managed to eliminate community cases (all cases were imported ones and as everyone has to do a 3 week strict quarantine (no leaving your room at all) then if you were positive it was caught before you could contaminate anyone else. Then it seems an airline crew member broke their easier quarantine and that has been enough to start community spread. I think about 80% are now vaccinated (my son had his booster before he left for the USA) but as we know vaccinated does not mean that you can�t catch it.

TBH I am happy he is in California this term. I am not sure what a lockdown in HK would look like.
